The principal objective of this program is to provide training relevant to the software technologies required by information and communications technology professionals to design, program, manage, maintain and enhance computer systems, particularly knowledge-based systems The program will give students the expertise to design, program, manage, maintain and improve computer systems, particularly knowledge-based systems Graduates will have strong leadership skills and an understanding of the social, legal and ethical issues facing computing professionals Core subjects include an industry-based project and thesis, which will allow students to explore an area of interest and develop your research skills Students can choose electives from areas including data mining, advanced databases, entrepreneurship, wireless network engineering and cloud computing
